This is a collection of activities that gives students opportunities to practice the skills needed for criteria A-D of the IB math internal assessment.
There is one activity for each month of the first year of the IB program.
Each activity is broken into tasks that can be done in one sitting or separately throughout the month, followed by discussion questions and a summary box for student consolidation.
This document is split into two parts:
i) A teacher book with notes for each activity. These notes include the purpose of the activity, answers to each task, discussion questions for quick teacher reference, consolidation notes (the conclusion students should be guided towards), and two journal prompts.
ii) A student book that is ready-to-print with space for student answers.
